FRANCE SURRENDERS TO LIBYA!

PARIS —Less than four days after spearheading international military strikes against Libya’s Muammar Gadhafi, France announced today it will be surrendering to the North African nation, effective noon tomorrow.
The shocking surrender was made after a fiery speech by Colonel Gadhafi on Libyan television, in which he condemned the U.S., France, Britain, and the U.N. for the airstrikes now ravaging his forces as they struggle to quell Libya’s anti-government rebellion.
In his broadcast Gadhafi wailed against the French for having begun the strikes, repeatedly threatening the French and denouncing them as “imperialist frogs,””sissies,” and “smelly snail-eaters.”
“The Zionist United Nations chose a pig nation to begin their assault on Libya,” screamed Gadhafi Tuesday morning. “They picked these imperialist frogs to do their dirty work. France will be the first to feel Libya’s revenge! Those smelly snail-eaters will regret not all dying of emphysema soon enough!”
Less than an hour later French President Nicholas Sarkozy took to the airwaves to announce France’s capitulation. “Fellow citizens of France –all eleven of you– we have put up a long and fierce fight, nearly eighty hours. We’ve given it our best and should feel proud,” said a teary Sarkozy. “But a nation should know when it has been defeated; France cannot withstand these attacks by Colonel Gadhafi any longer. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that I must ask all our forces to cease fighting.”
Reports are already emerging from France of white flags hanging from residents’ windows and streets being cleared to make way for the alleged force of 60 to 68 Libyan soldiers –maybe more– that are expected to storm the nation any moment.
French residents have already begun fleeing the beach towns along France’s southern coast, packing only the bare essentials as they make their way inland or into neighboring Spain for safety.
“We’re making our escape from Gadhafi’s insults and ethnic slurs,” said Margaret Noirot, a resident of the coastal city of Perpigan, as she and her two children hurried down a dirt road en route to Spain. “Hearing your country called a bunch of bad names is demoralizing enough, but to be called those hurtful things to your face? That’s why we’re fleeing.”
“(Libya) can invade us all it wants, just no more verbal attacks, please,” added Noirot.
While admitting that Libya’s military is having a difficult enough time retreating, let alone showing signs of invading a major Western power, France’s Permanent U.N. Ambassador, Gerard Araud, said France couldn’t afford to take chances with the Arab nation.
“The hurtful comments by Colonel Gadhafi have proved a sobering experience for all of France,” said Araud. “We have suffered greatly. It has made us reevaluate our intentions and military capabilities. We simply risk too much by further participating in this campaign. ”
As of 5:00 p.m., Paris time, the last of France’s warplanes had returned safely home.
Out of Character: French Surrender Takes U.S., Allies by Surprise
France’s decision to fling itself upon the mercy of Libyan troops has shocked and dismayed its allies, namely the United States, which now finds itself fulfilling the undiscovered (yet coveted) role of either taking over for, or completely bailing France out of dire straits.
Noticeably stunned by France’s sudden, unforeseen surrender have been U.S. commanders involved in the current strikes. Coordinating U.S. Admiral Mike Mullen said he was astounded to learn the United States would have to pick up France’s slack for the first time in recorded history, and feared the course the U.S. would take if France was indeed, God forbid, invaded.
“This capitulation by France to Libya is regretful, and we pray for the French people as they prepare for a possible army of dozens on their shores,” Mullen said Tuesday.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was quoted as saying the United States would “aid the French to the best of its abilities” if French soil is threatened.
Said Clinton, “The U.S. has been indebted to the French for over two-hundred years and we will defend them if called upon. We only hope they don’t make a habit of it.”

UPDATE: As of 3:00 p.m. EST, the French still showed no signs of re-conquering their nation from the thousands upon thousands of radical Muslims they have allowed to invade and flourish in their country over the last 60 years.
